so in other words, we cut him and the cowboys picked him up.

Interesting. I liked Edwards. More draft picks are good I guess.

had to edit my last post, meant to put cowboys not titans.

it is interesting, but a conditional 7th rounder? so does that mean there is a possibility of not even getting a pick?

Very poor fit for the 3-4. Was not going to make the team.

Yes if they cut him we could theoretically get nothing but hard to say without knowing the"conditions"

Agreed. You have to imagine that the conditions are pretty easy to get, but on the other side, if he's cut or doesn't play, the Titans could easily get nothing. And it's Jerry Jones negotiating.

The contract could have well read, "and must eat 22 blue skittles after each practice and game to qualify."

sidebar: with our personnel, did we really have to switch to a 3-4? what happened to building schemes around your players? I prefer the new staff but always felt that with a few tweaks and couple of players our 4-3 would've been a go. just sayin

If you want Ray Horton then you have to switch ;)

Though outside of Verner, who was not resigned anyway, none of the guys who are a poor fit for the new defense are any good anyway.
