The real probelm with this approach is that going into the draft, we have Afalfa, Griffin and Martin on our roster, and that's it. What if someone late in the first round decides to draft Elam? Or what if Wamack fails a drug test and is still on the board when we are picking at the top of the 2nd round. We need to address the position in free agency to give ourself options.
I've actually got hope for Afalava. When we signed him I said he'd be a guy to keep an eye on. He might save us some money by stepping up for us.
