    I think what he meant was no big name free agent signing has immediately led to a Super Bowl title. There's been several free agents that have help win titles, but none the year they signed.

    Plaxico Burress, Drew Brees, Kurt Warner, Adam Vinatieri were all on their teams at least 1 year prior to winning rings.

    What I meant was

    VY will be a free agent next year....and the free agent pool has yet to make it to the Super Bowl.
