I thought Fisher's report cleaned up a lot of holes in the police report, and in my opinion, is the accurate depiction of the story.

And my take is that Vince is flat out ok. And that Mu caused everyone to overeact right on down the chain. And I don't mean overeact in a bad way, I just mean that what he did led Vince down a path that he would prefer not have gone, and that in the end, led to a lot of misinformation and misperception. Things that don't go away easily.

As to being starter, I thought you could read Fisher's statements two ways. He is seeking treatment for his injury, or for his head. I felt it was treatment for the injury based on the remainder of the article. As to whether he will bring him back as starter when healthy, that is more debateable, but I think he will. We'll just have to wait and see. I'd be surprised if Vince didn't start when he is healed. That said, we all know that Fisher is a big fan of Collins. So you could really toss a coin at it. A lot of it will be determined by how consistent Collins is on the field at the time of Vinces return in 4 weeks.

Fisher seeks to clarify police report on Young

Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky Jeff Fisher was compelled to correct some details in Metro Nashville Police Department's report on the Vince Young incident last week. The report Chris Mortensen filed this morning is here.
I understand why Fisher wanted to set some things straight. There was some sloppy work in a report that should be cleaner. Nothing took place at or near LP Field, which was mentioned, and the role of the therapist mentioned in the report was miscast.
But beyond that, one has to wonder if Fisher and the Titans are stretching the "would the crowd please disperse, there is nothing to see here" spin.
