Some folks act like Devin Hester is available.

 

Those cut late in the season are historically bad pickups. Preseason cuts are a whole different animal.

 

Or Tony Brown. Wycheck though was cut because new coach (At the time of the Redskins) Norv Turner switched from the 2 TE base set to a 2 back base set. They tried to make Frank an FB. Did not go well. Plus I think there was a failed PED test if I am not mistaken.

Does this mean Damian won't be back? If he was going to play Sunday I would think they wouldn't go to the trouble to sign Washington.

 

I don't recall Wycheck being cut 3 times. Washington is not that big of an upgrade. They just need to stick someone back there to catch the ball and take a knee at this point.
