I'd welcome it with open arms.
Cordarelle Patterson is the only top ranked guy I'd stay away from. You could have his counterpart Justin Hunter much later and get more out of him.
Patterson, Cooper, Milliner, Rhodes, Vaccaro, Warmack (actually like him, but not #10), Mingo, Jones, Jordan
Why not Dion Jordan? Dude is a beast.
Ansah...he's the only guy I see us realistically going after that I would be opposed to. I think we also have Dion Jordan, D Milliner, S Lototulei, X Rhodes, Trufant, Warmack and Cooper on our board(none of which I would be mad if we drafted)....but if we get Ansah(or a WR) I will be upset.
If we go Mingo I will be beyond furious
Why the hate on Milliner? I realize he can't catch the football, but he's definitely the best cover corner in this draft, and at 6'2 and with the athleticism he possesses, I believe he'll be able to cover just about anybody in the league....
I this order:
There are several other ones as well, but they should be pretty obvious due to our team needs and player value at #10. For example, I like
At #10 this year we need a difference maker period. Not a solid guy or a good guy. We need someone like Ansah or Austin or maybe Lotuleilei. Someone that is going to be a threat to an opposing team.
The more I think about it the more I hate taking a OG at #10. Just don't see the value, especially when there are projected 2nd rounders that can be just as good(e.g. Warford).
If we want to stop being a mediocre team we need to stop drafting mediocre players.
Chance Warmack and Jonathan Cooper.
