SUMMARY: For many players attempting to make the Titans final roster, their ability to wear many hats make them more attractive to the team. "That's how you make a roster, is your versatility," Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt said. "And then over time, over the course of a season and an offseason, that's really where you hone your skills and become more of a specialized person and you kind of grow into what you are best at as you go forward." For example, OL Daniel Loper will backup at tackle and guard. Vincent Fuller can play at S along with the nickel position. Most of the WRs know all three WR positions. "You're a whole lot more valuable," WR Roydell Williams said. "I've been here a while, I know the offense very well. Our offense is based on concepts. If you know the concept of a play, how we're trying to attack the defense, you can get in at any position."

I'm afraid we'll look pretty silly...running out on the field, trying to balance a bunch of hats atop our heads.

Sometimes versatility is bad. It means your not good enough to just play 1 position.
