    i don't know if many of you saw that hit, but there was no way in hell it should have been a flag, let alone a fine.

    I blame Mike Ditka. I know he was trying to help the retired players get a better pension and better health care, but the pressure he put on the league to help players after retirement has sparked this. Now ten years from now the NFL can say "hey, we're trying to keep players safe."

    Very well put, and I agree. To throw a flag is one thing because it's a split second decision..but to look at that replay and fine the guy is absolutely absurd. And, now he will likely get fined again for his remarks to the NFL regarding his own fine. I have a feeling he will get reimbursed by the Giants somehow because he couldn't have made a more perfect tackle.
