Plaxico Burress would be a good WR for us.

I really am all for giving guys a second chance, but I don't think Plexico has enough sense to get out of the rain. Come on, shot himself in the leg, at a bar, in a city that has a law about carrying weapons. That has to be a "Cmon Man!"

 

I'd have nothing against giving him a shot... but I just don't think he's that good. He'll probably be ready to work his off though which is a plus. It boils down to priorities and WR is not one of ours.

 

Cheddar Plax is nothing but a short-term solution IF he can even still play. Give D-Will a chance to show what he can do full-time.

 

He's going to be 34 when the season starts.

I'd be willing to bring him in for the veteran minimum. Someone like the Raiders or Redskins will pay more for him.

 

Do you remember that one time he spiked the ball after a big gain his rookie year? Yeah, the ball was live and I'm pretty sure the other team returned it for a touchdown. Hilarious, man.

Then the guy shoots himself in the leg. He's making a living of embarrassing himself.

He is actually very football smart. Unfortunately for him, his attitude along with some bad judgement has forged a bad reputation.

Elite teams don't need to take risks like this.

He will go to a bad team... or an average team, at best.
