Yes, read the Halo books. Not great writing, but decent. There's a pretty good storyline there, and more than I thought there'd be.

There's enough to make a good movie....or 2....or 3....but it's hard to get your hopes up about a video game movie with the trend of suckiness :-/

I hope Silent Hill will reverse that trend...even though it seems to be straying a little from the story.
