Pick #77: Damian Williams, WR, USC

Reinfeldt's statement about this guy possibly being the #1 is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I just hope he contributes.

 

Im going to admit that I like the Rolle and the Williams pick out of the entire draft. I don't know about the sports science video; but I know this guy has skills. I just thought Tate was better but time will tell. Regardless, I'm glad to see that we're upgrading our WR's. I think we just need an all purpose Bush like threat to make us great now. We have a 1, 2, TE that can stretch the field, and CJ.

 

how is that dumb... all of our WRs suck except for britt and you cant say anything more than hes just "good". the guy isnt the fastest but he looks like he has pretty much every other quality that a WR needs

 

im no Gm but i was hoping for Shipley or Tate for a WR with Return abilities. I hope he turns out to be as good as recent USC product Steve Smith has for NYG.

 

Any WR drafted can possibly become a #1. So what's so dumb about that? Maybe you should go work for an nfl team since you can tell who the #1's are gonna be before they hit the field.

 

I'm starting to feel really good about Williams being in a Titan uniform. The more i think about it, the more i think it was a great pick.

I really do think he will be very productive as a rookie.

 

I see a lot of Derrick Mason in Damian Williams....which isn't a bad thing at all.

 

It sounds like we need to get deucewayne a seat next to our GM and Fisher next year so he can give them his expert opinion on how a draft is run and where every player will fall

 

didn't know much about him until i saw his highlights last night. what i liked most about him is that he immediately fills a need in returning punts where he was 1st team all-Pac 10 last season.
