Come on Gunny, no need making a argument about nothing.

If we asked you last week, who would you have return kicks for the Titans in 2010, Trindon Holiday or Mark Mariani, who would you have picked and why?

And if last week you asked me who would make the better WR Trindon Holiday or Mark Mariani I'd say Mariani before I even had the chance to google the guy on the internet to see who the heck he was.

The point is they want a position player who can also return. They don't want a 5 ft guy who has no other purpose but to be a returner.

I do wish we drafted Holiday because it would be fun to see who was faster, he or CJ. :)

Holiday is probably going to be a better returner, but to say he is proven when he has not yet played a game in the NFL is silly.

Too poor of a character guy, considering who we drafted there was almost no chance at least to me of us getting him. Titans are staying away from troubled players for good IMO. Besides i would feel much better if we had a vet somewhere in the RB group.

Jazzy, I think you are right on for why we passed on him and I can see that. You never know with a kid like that. But having watched him, he is a hell of a talent for a seventh round pick . . . I can't blame the Titans for passing on him.

Blount got picked up by the 49ers. They're sort of loaded at RB now. Gore, Coffee, Dixon, Blount.

I agree with Gunny, this Macaroni kid is easily the best returner in the nation, and we got a steal drafting him in the 7th round. Plus did you see him catch the ball, he puts Colston and maybe even Moss to shame. Don't assume Holliday is better because he played in the SEC, has track speed, and has better return stats. That just makes you look silly.
You can't assume that just because the other 31 teams passed on him at least 6 times; the skills he developed at the college football powerhouse Montana won't translate to the NFL. We found Finny didn't we? Our FO are geniuses in the 7th round, (just not so good in the second).
Macaroni has good character which only enhances his return speed and will also be utilized as our 7th or 8th WR in a possible new formation the genius JF is creating. It's all about character and small schools! Holliday is a nobody.
Don't assume anything! Nothing is proven!

I think we just found our answer at returner.

After us finding Finnegan in the 7th I'm never going to right off a 7th round pick.
