    I felt it was more the Steelers sucking than anything Manning did. The "Steel Curtain" looked absolutely awful on almost every level of the game. They couldn't stop the run, Manning was hitting wide open receivers, and the Steelers couldn't tackle worth anything.

    And amazingly, they were still in the game in the final minutes. Just Big Ben choked and that was that.

    Would Manning fare so well against a defense like the Ravens or 49ers?

    Hahahahahahahahaha, no.

    Yea, Steelers aren't what they used to be... and without two of their better defensive players in the lineup, it made it a whole lot easier for Gayton.

    LMAO, I thought the SAME thing, so I did the math, and came up with; In 2009 there was a 59 point margin. Then in 2012 a 21 point margin. By like 2015 we could maybe cut it to a 10-point margin, then by 2018 say a 5 point margin. 2021 is our year!

    I know in the coming weeks we are going to have a lot of bitching about the coaching, players, owner, etc.

    I want to defend Bud right now, he TRIED everything to get Manning. We wouldn't be Broncos good but we'd be a helluva lot better. So lay off the "we never try to get big free agents" comments.



    Anyone want to argue that it was a bad move to try and get Manning now??

    For crying out loud, our first 5 drives were all 3 and outs or turnovers.

    A defense can only stop teams so much. IMO we are lucky the score wasn't higher.

    With that being said, I in no way want anyone back next season.

    Offense success can have an impact on defensive play. You can't put the D in bad positions constantly.

    I actually agree with Alex. There is no doubt in my mind that we would be in the playoffs if we had Manning.

    We can talk bad about the defense all we want, but the defense actually would be way better if our offense was worth a d@mn.
