Guard Mitch Petrus hasn’t been active since the Titans claimed him off waivers from New England earlier this month, but there’s a possibility he’ll start this week against Green Bay.

Titans coach Mike Munchak said that if Fernando Velasco moves back to center this week, then the 6-3, 315-pound Petrus may get the start at guard over Kyle DeVan. Petrus has played in 25 NFL games and he started twice for the Patriots earlier this season.

Munchak said his other option would be to keep things the way they were on Monday, when DeVan finished the contest at center ( for the injured Kevin Matthews) and Velasco at guard.

“You factor in a lot of things,” Munchak said. “What’s best for Fernando? Is he best at center, and (would it be good) to put him back at center for the game on the road because of a comfort factor with the quarterback.

“So we’re looking at all those scenarios for a lot of different reasons, not just ability. I thought DeVan did a good job Monday under the circumstances. He came in and played pretty well.”

That's good, cause B.J. Raji & Clay Matthews are just going to lay down and let him bench press them.
