    I don't think we'll see another Watt-esque player for a long time...

Well IDK who youve been talking to but I only expect Williams to net 8-9 sacks a year. He's a 3-4 DE here, those guys never blow things up.. Watt gets his numbers by praying on the weak..

You do not who Marcell Dareus is?

Okay,he was the third pick, my bad.

Very good player, but far from JJ Watt

That would make him our best pass rusher...

Watt is a "generational player" which means we won't see anything like him again anytime soon.

Not this year that wont be, I expect Orakpo to really alleviate a lot of pressure from Morgan and Casey. last year it was those 2 and thats it, now with a viable option on the other side those 2 are my candidates to lead the team in sacks.

So you're picking 2/7 of our front seven as your candidates to lead the team in sacks.

Really going out on a limb

Watt was also the number 3 rated DT that year. He was the second one taken because Nick Fairly slipped due to character concerns. At this point we do not know how things will shake down.
    • Clay Matthews jr was not even the first LB from his team taken
    • Several LBs went before Ray Lewis
    • Ed Reed went late in the first
    • So did Devon McCourty
    • :cj: was the fifth RB taken in the first round that year
For all we know at this point Eli Harold or Aric Armasted could end up being the biggest defensive playmakers to come out of this draft.
