It is in july. I think late july, in the 20s.

Oliver had his workout yesterday, and didn't impress. Ran somewhere above a 4.5 40. The talk is that he might go for a 4th rounder now.

I doubt the Titans would bring in yet another DB - but if he drops to the 4th, it sure would be hard to pass this guy up. Scouts all seem to agree that his relative lack of speed doesn't hurt him on the field... could be a different story in the NFL, but for a 4th rd it might be worth the risk. Hard to argue with him shutting down CJ.

I think that if we can get him for a 4th, we have to do it. For some reason, the unimpressive workout he just turned in doesn't worry me that much.

    4th rd yes..maybe 3rd..

Because you get the player for a year before the draft you have to assume you need to draft him a rd early. In other words if he is a 4th rd talent you need to use a 3rd.

Oliver was not a first or second team all sec DB but that isn't a shame when you look at the guys who made that list. I would compare him to bennett the south carolina corner who was just taken in rd 4. Bennett is also a big corner who played well in the sec. Bennett ran a 4.45 at the combine. So for titan scouts that is the comparison.

I'm wondering if his academic problems will factor in this. I know he is a corner not a QB but not being able to pass enough lame courses to just stay elgible doesn't say much about him.
