    Pats defense mediocre?

They are 4th in total defense and 7th in scoring defense. We are 5th and 9th in those 2 categories..

Statistically they are just like their other great defenses. Their offense scores 37 points a game so they could take off a series every now and then but they don't. They only give up 17 points a game.

How many teams were 1st in offense and 4th in defense?

The 72 dolphins were 1st on both sides of the ball.

The 77 cowboys were 2nd on offense and 8th on defense.

The 85 bears were 2nd on offense and 1st on defense.

The 89 49ers were 1st in offense and 3rd in defense

All those teams won it all.

But simply being 1st in offense both total and scoring does not tell the story about this team because they have the best offense ever. The 89 49ers with montana, rice, craig scored over 100 fewer points than this pats team.

37 points a game is at a whole new level.

    22 of 32 for 4 TD's and 1 INT sucks? really?

Eli's only mistake, the only TO of the game (INT throwing into double coverage) turned out to be the only difference in this game as it turned into a TD for the Pats. IMO, The Giants have nothing to be ashamed of, even in the loss.
