So you're telling me that Griffin has been spectacular? He's caught a few lame ducks for ints, but other than that - what has he done? He's solid, but he's never going to be a probowler. Again, could have been had in the 2nd round.

 

no way. there were three more safeties taken after griffin and none of them were available when we picked in the second round. griffin's out-performed all of them. i was in the reggie nelson crowd before the draft, but i'm glad we went with griffin.

 

the 2007 first round looks like one of the more loaded drafts in recent history. guys are already making their cases for pro-bowls in their second year.

calvin johnson, joe thomas, laron landry, adrian peterson, patrick willis, marshawn lynch, michael griffin, aaron ross, dwayne bowe, jon beason and anothony gonzalez.

 

That's not even including Meachem. Who didn't play at all. He's pretty much a rookie. 2007 draft was loaded.
