Patrick Willis is a freak

Man, this is the kinda guy a 3-4 defense will slurp up very quickly. He will do great somewhere.

 

Why 3-4? He can't play outside in a 3-4, only inside, so that leaves 2 spots for him. In a 4-3, he could play any of the 3 positions, although middle would probably be his strongest spot since it would take full advantage of his speed sideline to sideline. I really see Willis as the kind of player that will be picked ahead of where everyone thinks he will. I could see him in the top 10 even. I hope I'm wrong. ~

As an aside, why do people say he has 4.3 speed? 4.38 or whatever he ran is essentially 4.4 lol. I mean, saying 4.3 should mean that he ran at least a 4.34. That drives me crazy. The difference in a player that runs a 4.39 and 4.40 is basically nothing, not 1 tenth of a second.

 

As the 2 major problem areas for Titan's D are stopping the run and inability to generate enough pressure on the QB, if he can potentially contribute heavily in both areas I'd consider him.
