It felt like a game of Madden where the opponent keeps doing the same screen/slant/dump to a back over and over again tearing you up and not being able to counter it. It hurt watching them take away our pass rush and dink and dunk their way up the field. Good game plan for the JETS though.

Side Note: Props too Haynesworth on the goal line play in the third(?). He leapt the line and forced the runner sideways where Kearse got the tackle and credit. Unfortunately they got it on the next play when Favre snuck it through three defenders to Coles.:grrr:

Dinger has man love for Mccareins- that's the only reason I can think of for that ball duster to still be starting.

Yea, there was so much that went wrong in this one it's hard to know where to start. It all kinda got intertwined.

I think you're right on about the guys turning upfield before they've made the catch. That lead to 3 and outs which put even more pressure on our D.

I think the D got burned on some screens with some over-pursuit. There were probably more plays they got burned on with just poor tackling - going for the hit instead of wrapping up.

The depletion of the secondary probably hurt more than we were expecting. Carr played well, but he's not a starter. He needed help over the top, which meant the underneath coverage was a little soft.

So all that snowballed into the Jets holding the ball for 40 minutes. They just gave us a taste of our own medicine. The D was worn out early. The O couldn't get in a rhythm. It was Fisherball at it's best, unfortunately on the wrong sideline.

It's somewhat irrational but McCrareins is my scapegoat for the loss.

I didn't want him to return & I felt we had a better group without him involved. For one at least he proved me right.

He's a inconsistent player who can't be relied on even as a 3rd WR let alone a 1st.He's affirmed that with years of mediocrity despite many chances afforded to him mostly by Heimerdinger.

He may be very likeable & a great classroom guy but he can't play pro football.

It's even more of a pisser that he came back & stunk against the team that let him go.

With how few passes we normally throw in a game it has to be better for Gage & Jones in terms of reps when they're #1 & #2.

He would have played much better w/o the penalty calls. On one hand, some of that stuff goes on every Sunday w/o being called. Maybe he's a little rusty at CB, but watching the chicken fighting with the hands would have helped.

He reminds me some of Harper. Doesn't look like he has much long speed, but he pretty quick. Small too. Maybe he can improve, but I think we missed Harper or even King.

I'm really ready for Jones or Hawkins to replace J-Mac. They've both played well this year, and J-Mac has consistently failed us. Time to move on.
