The league cannot ban him for life for appealing. Impossible. The most they can do is affirm his sentence.

I hope he was still living out of an apartment, because if you lose your whole salary, in only your second year, that is a lifestyle change. You'd have to give up your house unless you got some outisde help.

I think he's got enough friends on the team that can help him out if necessary, he's not really being abandoned (I hope)

There is a catch to that tho'. His appeal has to be with the Commish. And to get reinstated, I think he has to go through the commish again. So there is some cause for concern with an appeal. Tho I think your right, the commish will be expecting it without backlash.

Pacman has purchased a house with some land in the Franklin area. Very high end! One of his neighbors is George Jones. Non country music fans can use google.

Terrance Newman (Cowboys) was on Sirius today. He said he felt the punishment was too harsh. He agreed with taking an entire year's salary away and 8-10 games.

He brought up the point that keeping Pac away from the facility and team for 6 days out of the week was not re-habbing him at all. He felt football was the main positive influence in Pac's life and keeping him away from it was more like abandoning him rather than helping him.

He, Jerry Rice and the other said without a doubt Goodell made "made an example of Pac" contrary to his statements.
