SUMMARY: Pacman Jones has been given permission to seek a trade. Though the interest in Jones by other teams is not known, it may indicate his days as a Titans are done. "The Titans have publicly stated that they are looking at all their options concerning Adam Jones," Jones' agent said. "If and when the Titans make a final decision, we will test the market on Adam’s behalf." Even while suspended, a player can be traded according to an NFL spokesman. "A suspended player can be traded like any other player under contract. The trading period for this year begins on Friday," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said. Jones’ agents said last week they would be willing to restructure the CB’s contract, if need be, to a more incentive-laden deal if it helps Jones get another chance to play in the NFL either with the Titans or another team.

Hmmm. Doesn't sound like a good idea to trade him during his value trough.

This is a desperation move by p-thugs agents, but hopefully the fool sees that he isn't all that in anyones eyes in the league. He has no value trade or playing at all right now because of his own inability to grow up and leave the street behind. P-thug is done, don't let the door hit you on the way out.:grrhee:

Agreed. The Titans are allowing Pacman to fish around for someone insane enough to give up something for him.

The question is "would you give up a sixth-round pick for him?" Depending on how free agency and the draft shakes out, I could see someone willing to give up a '09 draft pick as training camp nears if it looks like Pacman will be reinstated.

    Question for all...

Would you have given up a third for either Ray Lewis or Jamaal Lewis a few year's back?

What does it hurt? I think it could be an eye-opening experience for Pacman to see how little attention he gets out there. Maybe it helps him see the big picture.

Or, if someone is goofy enough to give up a good player or a decent draft pick, the Titans get rid of a problem.
