Then shouldn't every other NFL player going to a strip club go through the same thing?

From early reports Pacman wasn't even there (at the shooting), just had his name dropped, and outside of the possible false allegation, how is that different from any other NFL player going to a strip club?

According to the news this morning, Pacman turned himself in to the Vegas police late last night and is already posted bond of $10,000 and has been released.

I'll post a link when I can find one.

    This happened overnight.

$10,000 isn't much for bail if that's the case.

I believe you only need to pay 10% of bail, so it was $100,000.

You are missing the crux of the problem. Again, it's the negative publicity, not the fact he goes to strip clubs. I am sure plenty of NFL players go to them, but that doesn't result in shootings or the police being involved. You are just going to have to concede that where there is smoke, there is fire. This isn't just one isolated incident. There is a pattern here. From the very beginning eyebrows were raised when he loaned his car to a known drug dealer, and it's being going downhill ever since. He flies up to NY to visit with the man that will determine his fate, and where does he go the night before? A strip club. While there is nothing illegal about it, how much common sense does it take to at least appear to be sincere about cleaning up your act? He gets off with a possible 10 game suspension, telling Goodell he is going to clean up his act, and impose a curfew on himself. The next thing you read is he is again tied to a shooting, at 4:00 AM, at guess where....a strip club. As someone else pointed out, he has no self discipline, on or off the field. When he scores a TD, does he interact with his teammates? No, he does his slide (which isn't far removed from what he sees strippers do with the pole). Then he runs off the field by himself. I watched a highlight of Finnegan escorting him down the field on one he took back. Pac did his slide, and never even looked back at Finnegan. He is a loner, and while his play may be excellent, I somehow feel the Titans will become a better TEAM with him gone. We managed to go to the Super Bowl without him, and we can do it again.

    I see your point.

    That is completely wrong.

Didn't you see him on the INT against the Giants? Revving up the crowd standing back before a Punt Return?

Fair labor standards prevent an employer from applying company procedures and protocols discriminately.

It is clear and obvious that Pac has had different punitive standards (due to negative PR) applied to him than other NFL players.

TnThunder-NO EMPLOYER is allowed to applied policies and procedures to ANY EMPLOYEE discriminately. The reason the league is doing this to Pac is because their policy is vague and ambiguous by design. It allows a large degree of leeway for the league (commissioner) to interpret conduct detrimental.

Pac had a VERY strong case for unfair labor practice against the league because of his excessive punishment and the arbitrary application of the policy to his case. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending upon your view) for Pac, he pissed his case away by 1) dropping his appeal and then 2) being present again at a strip club and with allegations of a shooting arising again.

No judge or jury in the world will believe anything Pac says is credible at all. A case against the league by Pac could still be filed on solid ground, however, the likelihood of getting a judge and/or jury to rule in favor of Pac is almost zero now.

    Stupid is as stupid does.
