Fewell was interviewed (err, a Rooney Ruled) before "the decision" to hire Munchak. He was the guy I liked most of the lame, lame, LAME candidates we interviewed. But at the same time, he's interviewed for several jobs the past couple years and never been hired. Maybe there's a reason for that.

Props to Munchak for taking responsibility.

Munchak seems like a much better offensive lineman & all around person as opposed to a head football coach. I think this article says that Bud is basically ready to blow this organization up.

You look at a team like the bears.. Yeah, they might be loaded... but they have an extremely experienced coaching staff and a solid defense is product of solid coaching IMO...

Something needs to happen, I'm officially jumping on the "fire everyone" bandwagon. I don't like getting that extreme but we're an embarrassment in the NFL. We went 9-7 and were supposed to be a playoff team this year, not playing like trash every week. Bring in someone who has had no part of this organization and actually knows what they're doing.

We have some talented guys on this team. They just simply do not have a competent coaching staff.

Cook may very well be gone, and Hass is playing exactly how you want a near 40 year old back up to be playing.

And most of our D stays, we have plenty of good young players. They just get the short end of the stick in terms of coaching.
