^^ Not really, but ok...and I don't care what he looks like...You remember Jerome Bettis don't you??? He looked A LOT fatter than Burfict, but he could play football...they ain't trying to be models

Also, if that's considered fat and out of shape, my girlfriend must be extremely upset...

Fat and out of shape relative to a professional athlete? Yeah.

I would upload a pic of "The Bus" but that's just inappropriate..regardless..I think it's been proven that "fat boys" run and hit just as well as ripped up guys...

If Jerome Bettis was starting LB for the Steelers I'm not sure if they would've won many games...which isn't a bad thing.

If I'm not mistaken, running backs are usually more cut up and in shape than linebackers...the avg. running back weighs like 210, while the avg. lb weighs like 250...Yeah, this conversation got to the point where we're arguing about the looks of a player :suspect:

I'm just not one to look at a player's body and be like "whoa, he's fat, he must not have work ethic". Maybe he's just not as blessed as every other ripped up black guy in the world.

So you named one good fat player, should we just discredit freaks like Patrick Willis?

I'm not discrediting anybody...I'm just saying not all athletes were blessed with ripped up bodies. It doesn't mean he's not a good football player though. We all saw how he hits in his game tape and the type of instincts he has...that matters more to me than if he has a 6 pack
