The thing that scares me more than anything is; with the way the Texans are trending, it's eerily similar to the Titans. Fisher takes over a bad team and has a few 8-8 seasons in a row. Within a couple of years after that the Titans are in the Super Bowl. 10 years later, they still haven't won a thing.

Kubiak takes over a bad team and has a couple of 8-8 seasons.... Thankfully, the Texans aren't cursed like Bud's team. Bad karma and all that....

Well if a bowl game is the post season of college football than they did better than the Texans have ever done this year.

From a purely fan perspective, most of us here were not Oiler fans (I was), so they haven't had any emotional connections with the Oilers.

I assume most Texan fans were Oiler fans (being in Houston and all) and therefore dealt with the Oilers issues (eg the heart wrenching loss in 1993, they endured it) and the current Texan mess.

And from a franchise perspective, we have two AFL Championships, which are Superbowl equivalents from back then.

Sooooo in the first 7 years of Oilers history, they have two championships.
The Texans have...none?

cows just don't understand that next weeks games are CHAMPIONSHIP games.

I'll never understand how the Texan fans can trash Bud Adams so much when Bob McNair has failed to put a winning team on the field in the teams whole existence. Rather than ***** about the past and the team moving how about you worry about the future and how you've never made it to 9 wins. He brings shame to the name "McNair."
