These are good points but they don't draft high because they have already established their dynasty. I'm just saying if it means we have to fall to the bottom to consistently stay on the top I'm down.

But you are also right, Titans will prob screw up their draft pick anyways.

I also think it trickles down, right. It starts at the coaching staff and owner. Have competent people up top and the FA, Drafts and vets will be used to their full potential.

We'll probably end up going 6-10 or 7-9. I hope we build off the momentum of this win but we still have a lot of problems and those aren't the Steelers we're used to seeing.

-Locker has to stay healthy and continue to improve
-CJ had a nice game but still made some bad cuts and the vision isn't there. MUST improve.
-Britt stay healthy and Wright continue developing.
-OL must protect the QB and get some holes for CJ.
-Pass rush please. Any pass rush.
-McCarthy needs to get healthy for our defense to have any shot of improving.

How have we screwed up with our draft picks lately?? I agree that a dynasty starts from the top though. Bud Adams screwed up our chances of getting a good center(and possibly Mario Williams) this offseason by telling the FO to drop everything and go after Peyton...

I think a dynasty is started with an attitude, not by getting a high draft pick..yeah, it would be exciting to get a high pick, but even those high picks are only as good as the team they go to. I think it's more exciting to start winning games and have hope to make it to the playoffs.

Right I agree about some of your points and disagree with others.

I think bud screwed up by not properly scouting for the right coach (potentially, still could be too early). If it happens to work out its not because Bud did the right thing. Bud got lucky.

It is exciting to see wins, but I feel for people on this board when they complain about constant 8-8 records. It feels like it gets us no where, and we are never low enough in the draft to get a star player/playmaker to help this team.

Exactly. It's not really the fact THAT we lost as much as it is how we lost that bothers a lot of us.

I think we have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. The offense is definitely sporadic tho. Defendant on how well CJ can't run that day and palmers play calling.

The defense is probably the youngest in the nfl. Mad young team on D. Main problem here is we get no pressure... If we could get QB pressure we would be so much better.
