Our offense w/ collins vs. young

    Just a little fyi for everyone. In the 2007 season without chris johnson and as vince as qb we were ranked 21 in total offense with a 41% 3rd down percentage. Last season with collins and chris johnson, we were still 21 in total offense with a 36% 3rd down percentage averaging only two more yards a game!!!!!! For all you vince haters and ppl who want to give up on him now, stick that in your pipe and smoke it!!!

    Im not trying to be combative, simply stating the stats like so many of you do when dissing vince and how much better our offense is with collins. Its just crazy talk when ppl actually believe that ramsey has a chance at the number two position.

    KFC is more fluid out there and he uses our O-line much better than Vince does. Vince still needs to learn how to settle down in the pocket. We all know he's a much more athletic guy than KFC, no doubt. But he's got to slow down all relax. Be comfortable in the pocket and take advantage of our great O-line.

    But you gotta wonder how much better our O can be with VY, CJ, Gage and Nate. Plus Bo and Alge with the new kid Cook. If KFC slips up and starts airing out picks like he did in Oakland then VY will take back that #1 spot. Not saying that I want KFC to do badly its just that we have a tough schedule this year.

    Actually- it's that simple. That's Vince's main problem is turnovers. All we want him to do is MANAGE the offense, just like Collins does. Make a play here and there, and take care of the football.
    But turnovers kill a ball control team like ours. We have to be as efficient as possible and make the best of every drive. Even if it doesn't result in a touchdown for us- we can't give the opposing team great field position from a pick.

    It's been that simple all along. Vince just has to take care of the ball.
