On the sixth day, the Titans will rest

After five days of training camp practices, the Titans will take a break on Wednesday. Some players will report to Baptist Sports Park to get treatment for injuries, but most of the team will get the day off.

“It’s a chance to get away from it for a day and digest what we’ve gone through,” coach Mike Munchak said. “We’ve gotten off to a good start. We know we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us, but the players need to do what they need to do to get ready to come back on Thursday and get ready for the next grind: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. That’s kind of what you hope they do.”

The Titans practice against the Falcons in Dalton, Ga., on Monday before getting another day off on Tuesday. The Titans will get several other days off during camp. Munchak hopes it helps players deal with fatigue.
