well.. at least we've got something to look forward to. Even if it's a top 10 pick that will likely be a flop.. we get to be excited for a few months before he takes the field.

We lost to the current 1st overall pick Texans and 2nd overall pick Jaguars, there is no bright side. The only bright side will be if Munchak gets fired and we hire outside the organzation.

The only bright side is; I still have 4 weeks before I have to watch NBA basketball.

It's better than having to watch baseball.

baseball is the worst. I was about to insult the NBA until I saw your MLB post.

I would rather not be a sports fan at all, than watch baseball. No way I'd ever really care about the NBA since the mid 90s, either.

The predators kinda suck too, but it's good to have alternate favorite sports. Hockey has been way more entertaining than Titans football the past 3 years or so. Even bad hockey is more fun to watch than most Titans games.

Outside of Wright, McCourty, Casey and Verner, what players do the Titans have on the roster that we can say is quality when compared to any of the better teams in the league? We have a few who have the occasional good game or big play but they are just as likely to play poorly and make mistakes.

Here's the way I see it...

    Quality players
All are playing at a high level and have upside:

    Wright
    Casey
    Verner
    McCourty

    Second tier
Above average but are not in the top 10 at their position:

    CJ
    Roos
    Griffin
    Levitre

The jury is out on all the rookies and second-year guys but, overall, I have a hard time saying this roster is anywhere close to being good enough to be better than 8-8 which is what most here thought they'd be entering the season.

To me, not having a QB on either list is the reason the Titans are where they are. Bring in new coaches and get the same production at QB and we'll see the Titans remain mediocre for years to come. Quality QB play is that important.

Can't stand watching a game on TV, but I enjoy going to games. My buds uncles works within the Cardinals organzation, which results in free tickets any time. Loving going to day games and drinking until I forget I'm at a baseball game. Other than that, baseball sucks.

I'm a diehard Bulls fan, just as diehard as I am for the Titans. It's been rough recently.

Yes but a new coaching staff will want to bring in guys that fit his system and those players might not be on our roster.

Example: If we bring in Ray Horton we can also bring in Paul Soliai and Jason Worilds, thus giving us a NT and OLB that fit his system, and still be able to sign Casey long term

how we fix this team: Get rid of Munch and lowgains. I am sick of those two idiots on our sidelines. Next we need a QB that actually play more than 5 games in a row without getting hurt, figuring out how to protect himself and make throws from the pocket. Also a QB that is not made of glass would help as well. Simple: new coach + New QB = Playoffs!
