I know, but the thing is that he did not even give Vince the small chance of developing or learning a little about being a QB in the NFL.

Oh poor Vince. The stud Texas QB who won a national championship wasn't given 4+ years to develop before Hoge had an opinion.

Bottom line was Hoge saw what VY had and made a scouting judgment of his fitness as a NFL QB and in his determination didn't think could make the transition. So far Hoge has been right.

This isn't politics where some baffoon gets elected QB based on polling the number who WANT the guy to be good. This is the NFL where decisions are made good or bad on players all the time. Oh, and basically what was accomplished in HS and college doesn't matter. There are plenty of college stud QBs that can't play in the NFL.

There's no point in entertaining Hoge. He always had some grudge with Vince for whatever reason.

Wingo likes to poke at Hoge about it as well. There's really nothing he can say right now. He's playing perfectly fine.

So what you are saying is that Vince has not played well these last two games? In your opinion he has not show any sign of improvement? /for you Hoge is right only because he agrees with your assessment of VY, nothing more. What credentials as a scout does he have? If Hoge was right VY should not have a winning record or worse yet show any sign of being a better QB since that was his whole point about VY.

Even David "I always has to mention his meltdown in '08" Climer responded during a chat session that he was wrong because he did not expect VY to play the way he's been playing. Although he says that hes waiting to see how he plays in the remaining games in order to pass a judgment.

Bean...if he gets hit in the midsection...isn't that a great way to lose the ball???!! Maybe, the reason that Gage held onto the ball is because he was hit in the legs and not midsection.
