    The cartoon game is "Dragon's Lair" the Ron Bleuth classic, also "Space Ace" was along the same line.

    My favorite of the vector games (like Tempest) was the Star Wars game where you started fighting tie fighters shooting fireballs at you then you made the Death Star trench run. It had actual lines from the movie.

    That is awesome. The game I was talking about was about 9 minutes in....the one with the big spiders.

    I don't think I saw the bike game I was talking about on there....was Kik Start the bike game near the end?

    Looks like some influences for later games can be found in some of those early games.

    Ah Forbidden Forest, that the one.

    I remember some of those ninja games.

    The bike game I remember had an overhead view, and it was a wide shot. You were a lil guy with a lil bike on the screen.

    Anybody played these games on emulators (if they're avaliable)?

    Was it ever possible to beat Doom? That first one just ended with the 'You're suppose to win aren't you?' text.
