No idea why the Rams released him because they suck and he's one of their better players. He must have wanted out or they weren't willing to pay him.

There's no way we bring him in. It wouldn't really make much sense. He's going to be a starter with some team and both of our starting safeties are better than him.

 

I don't really know why he's so sought after. every time i see a highlight against the rams he's either missing a tackle or chasing someone into the endzone...

 

I'm going to say we don't get any new bodies until some guys get a chance to start sucking. Mainly because of the time of year it is. Draft just past, rosters are full as is (he's a casualty of that).

 

I think Griff bounces back this year and gets all that personal stuff behind him. Even if he doesn't I LOVE the pick of Robert Johnson, I think he can be the real deal. Don't forget we drafted Rolle as well.

 

He's an average safety but a turnover machine. That's why he is so sought after; he creates fumbles and INTs at a very high rate. Otherwise he's a gambler and can get a defense burned, like you say

 

I don't see him as a good fit for the Titans.

The fact that he isn't signed by anyone yet (and several teams have come out and specifically said that they don't want him) really shows how over-rated he is. Even average players can look great when they are on the Rams.

If he was truly that good, the Rams would never have let him hit free agency. They probably knew that he wouldn't get what he wants from any other team so they let him test the waters. Now he will have to crawl back to the Rams and accept less money.
