I am sure this will be his only issue.
Keep in mind that his friend is the victim and did not start the altercation. We don't know anything about his friend except that he was stabbed at a party and was taken to a hospital by a friend (Kenny). I doubt many of us would have handled this very differently (except the police part maybe).
I had a friend in high school who was one of the best basketball player in the state. Great grades, no behavior issues, accepted to 5 colleges, and was due to play in the State Championship game at the TD Garden in Boston but was tragically shot and paralyzed from the waist down. The bullet wasn't meant for him, he was an innocent bystander. Things like this happen in "the hood" every day. I know people who didn't grow up around this stuff will judge and sometimes they're right but let's be careful.
what kind of party was it???
Has Kenny Britt done anything to earn the benefit of the doubt? If this was his only report with police or even his second most people wouldn't care in the slightest. Maybe some would jump on him, but for the most part no one would care.
Instead this is like the eighth time he's been involved with the police. Britt has created this problem with his own actions. It's gotten to the point of people not even paying attention to it anymore.
Quit making fun GJ's Asian accent. It's not his fault.
It's now being reported that his brother was the victim.
I have a really bad feeling that as more details emerge, this is going to get ugly.
Cordarelle Patterson, come on down.
Kenny dumb ass Britt has millions of reasons to stop hanging in the hood, hes just stupid plain and simple.
How many times has he been involved with the police? 9+?
you would think after so many issues he would stop caring about keeping it real and smarten up, but no not Kenny
You left out the part about how you weren't a well-known NFL player with a mile-long rap sheet.
I get what you're saying, benefit of the doubt and all that. But there's really no comparing the two situations. You were a college kid at a party and something crazy happened. We've all been there. Kenny is about to be entering his 5th year in the league (WOW!) and should know better by now than to put himself in situations where this kind of thing can happen.
You seem to be the type of person who views legitimate reasons as "excuses". If an "excuse" is justified, then guess what it's valid. Our entire justice system is based on analyzing the facts and determining who is at fault based on them. But don't let facts get in the way of your desire put this on KB anyways.
