Perhaps he's afraid of retaliation for talking to the police. Had you actually not thought of that?

He is a famous athlete who has a house in Tennessee why is he afraid of anything? He has plenty of money(or should) to keep himself and his family safe.

Why worry about keeping your family safe while you're in another state, when you can just refuse to talk to the police. Kenny should go in with his lawyer and refuse to talk if he doesn't want to talk.

You can't exactly refuse a subpoena, the police will eventually talk with him.

I know I would NEVER talk to the police about a crime without consulting with and having a lawyer present while doing so.

You can't refuse to appear after that, but they can't force you to talk. Ever heard of pleading the fif?

not even if you just happened to be in another building when you found out a friend got stabbed and you took him to the hospital?

    thats pretty non-incriminating.

Him staying silent, and playing hide in seek, reeks of foul play or him just being stupid and immature. Neither of which I would be surprised about.

Certainly not before I knew everything about what happened and who was responsible. I literally know a woman who was kidnapped and held down while the word snitch was tattooed on her forehead for "cooperating with police."
