I need a breakout year to be competitive... Tho I've been lucky in the past to get it. I normally draft with the upside down strategy and take my late sleeper RB late. I was either half asleep or something during this draft. Not super happy, but I still got a chance with a little luck

When you can secure a nobody running back in the late rounds that you think will def have starting stats, you can pick a QB in the early stages of round 1 and all you need is one guy to think "qb run" and it creates a crazy ripple effect helping you secure a top rb in the second.

I wanted Luck, and was probably going to draft him. I don't think he is a good player, but defenses are not going to be allowed to touch him.

Yeah, I think Thompkins in both leagues. Possibly Austin in league 2 if you wanna mix things up a bit.

You know what SawdustMan and myself have in common? We don't suck.

RSB talked mad ish when I picked him but RG3 went early and another Qb already went as well.. Keap I think. But I wasn't going to lose out on a possible breakout performance because I needed to reach. I'd already had to a time before. It was all or nothing at that point.

What round did you get him in?

I mean sometimes you just HAVE to reach though.

thats the earliest I would have taken him, a reach, but all the QBs started going before then. I autodrafted Vick in 7 and he would have been one of my 'dont touch at any costs' guys. Oh well, use him while I got him.

However, I already had a line on later Rd WRs I could take and still be competitive. Shorts and Kenbrell. So going QB a couple rds earlier to secure one wasn't a big issue for me.
And I was going to go RG3 in rd 5
