Now That We Have Wright It's Time To Pick A Receiving Threat

Anyone agree that now that we have Wright who should be solid and catch plenty of passes we now need a legitimate threat like a Julio Jones or AJ Green to lead the offense.With doing that we give Locker weapons on offense because Nate Washington is getting older and of course Kenny Britt won't be here much longer due to his off the field issues.That leaves Kendall Wright,Damian Williams and Nate Washington this upcoming season.

We have more and bigger needs

I imagine we will have Britt next season and we'll be fine with Britt-NaWash-KWright in 2013.

I wouldn't mind going after Dwayne Bowe but I can understand his critics point of view as well.

I think it's too early to tell on Britt. If it turns out he had any involvement whatsoever in the stabbing or the shots fired, I can't see any way we don't cut him. Dude's just had soooooo many chances.

If we don't go after Bowe, I'd like to go after Wallace or Jennings. Those two will ask for a much higher pay check, but I believe they would be a safer choice as well.

I don't think Green Bay lets Jennings go, but they might. That guy is a complete wide receiver and would do wonders for this offense.

Uh, no. Those WRs are two of the top 5 in the league. They are incredibly hard to get. Do you not remember what Atlanta had to give up?

Without adequate blocking no WR will help us. O-Line is priority numero uno.

Which is what I mean by more and bigger needs. WR can't do much unless the QB can get him the ball. QB can't get him the ball without protection. Always starts with the OL.

A spokesman for Tennessee Titans wideout Kenny Britt says the receiver's only involvement in the stabbing incident in Jersey City early Sunday was taking his injured friend to the hospital.
The Jersey Journal received a statement from an unidentified spokesman for the Titans star, which said, Britt “has made himself available to cooperate.”

“Kenny was leaving a dinner cooked by his friends’ parents when he found his friend, who had left earlier, injured outside,” the statement said.

“Kenny immediately brought his friend to the hospital and was there with the injured friend’s family for several hours, but was not otherwise involved in the incident.

“It was not a house party, Kenny’s brother was not injured (and wasn’t even there) and Kenny has made himself available to cooperate with the authorities investigation of this matter.”
Police apparently still want to question Britt and others about the incident. A gunshot that was fired about an hour and a half after Britt dropped his friend off at the hospital is also a part of the investigation as well.
