    If you're talking about only one specific case, sure. But overall, owners refuse to honor contracts exponentially more than players.

    I'm with wplatham. I'm really not sure WTF you're talking about. If you don't think Mawae is a highly respected individual, you're mistaken.

    The NFLPA is one of the weakest professional sports unions. The NFL owners rule this league.

    By fans of the NFL. I thought it was pretty clear, and I figured that anyone who knew anything about Mawae would feel the same way.

    I mean, if you want to be super uptight about things like this, that's your call.

    Hes wrong. I think hes talking about where players are released with X years left on the contract and the players do NOT get their negotiated base pay.

    Owners are not breaking the contracts because the owners have the right to unilaterally void any contract and make the player a FA

    I'm not wrong about anything. You guys are crying about CJ using his only tool that is allowed him within the CBA, which is holding out. The owners cut players and void their contracts all the time. I never hear any "fans" crying about the owners treating players poorly when they cut them.
