His response to a question about which Qb the Redskins should be interested in.

When he said that he meant it to be a compliment! Read on..

He does understand that Brian Griese is a bench warming backup right? Maybe not but that might provide some insight into his Cam Newton analysis.

What Nawrocki said about those guys has absolutely nothing to do with his Cam Newton analysis.

Lots of people tried to discredit Nawrocki after all the stuff he said about Cam. They went back and dug up his equally scathing profile of Jamarcus Russell (he was dead-on) and also his criticism of Jimmy Clausen (too early to say for sure, but he looks to be right). At this point, his track record is looking pretty good. I don't really find the way he goes about his draft analysis to be classy, but it does seem to be accurate.

Nawrocki said bad stuff about Cam. Other respected writers came out in support of what he wrote (for instance, Peter King came out and said that he's heard all the same bad stuff about Cam). You're pretty alone on this one. You keep trying, but you're not going to be able to convince anyone that Cam doesn't have major red flags all over him.

Nawrocki is well respected, it's the only reason his Newton report had any credence.

I just hope we don't goof up and take Dalton.

He's so knowledgeable he tries to positively compare some prospects today to a bench warming backup who was drafted in 98.

Regarding his comments on Newton they are stupid. Why would a locker room of pro players care if his dad tried to get some payola from his school of choice? Some of them may have done the same thing.

Did Mcnair lose the Titans locker room after he was arrested for driving stinking drunk with a loaded gun in his car? No he went on to win an MVP.

What about Big Ben who treats girls like trash and gets a 4 game suspension? Did he lose his locker room? His team went to the pro bowl.

Did you even read what he said about Cam? If so, you missed the point in a big way.

Whole Steelers team went to the Pro Bowl? Damn and they still lost in the Super Bowl with a team full of all pros.

McNair had no character concerns before that lone incident and was loved by his team already. Cam will be coming into the NFL and will have to win over the locker room. McNair and Big Ben were established QB's when they got into trouble not a rookie who hasn't done a thing on an NFL field.

This is a pathetic attempt to justify your love for Cam. He will not be a Titan.

You understand that Brian Griese was a good starting quarterback for a few years under Shanahan, right? Was he anything special? No. Was he bad? No. That sounds exactly like Dalton and Ponder to me.

We would have killed to get the kind of production out of our QBs the last five years that Griese had under Shanahan.

I'd of killed to get Trent Dilfer level production for a few years.

What an idiotic statement. My justification for liking Cam Newton comes from his national championship and dominant play. Also his outstanding physical characteristics.

As for Mcnair we know now that he fathered a child in Mississippi outside of his marriage and was cheating with a 20 year old bimbo waitress who murdered him. Mcnair made these mistakes at the age of 30 and above! Newton is just a kid.

After knowledge of Mcnair's charter failings were well known he was still loved by those who coached or played with him. This is football not an audition for sainthood.
