They are already close to being great. After building. They get those guys to try and put them over the top. We are not close. It makes sense for the Broncos to mortgage their future. Not us.

no Lombardi. Probably not one this upcoming season, either.

It simply doesn't work in pro sports. Only one few I can really think of were the Celtics in the early 2000s, and the Heat recently. Other than that.. the free agent sprees don't amount to anything, most of the time.

Free agents are expensive and older.

90 percent of the time you win by drafting right, with a few key free agent pieces. The Broncos are a ticking time bomb.

The titans sucked for the better part of a decade because they drafted poorly.

Denver is not "building" a team. They have a star QB in possibly his final year so they are throwing money at it. Two years from now let's see what they do with all these overpriced names..

2 years from now they will probably cut all these guys and probably have that in contract that the players can opt out or be cut, freeing up the same type of salary space to sign newer guys..or am I way out of line here?

Me too! Embrace the rat. Some historical greats who were rats include: George Washington, Mozart, Bill Shakespeare, and the Notorious B.I.G.

LOL at all you fans saying you don't want him cause of the dog thing that happened what ten years ago? Like usual plenty of holier than thou Titans fans who turn their back to the reality of how a lot of these NFL guys are.

For me it's not about the dogs, it's about the age, the injury history, and the fact that we already have an injury prone mobile qb. He could do great in our system, but for that it's too high of a risk to take. I'd rather have Locker and spend the extra money towards protecting him rather than on his backup.
