No Joker in Batman 3

    Check out The Lookout. He plays a guy who isn't quite all there after sustaining a head injury and has various difficulties getting along.. He was a pretty convincing f**kup/bad guy in a Mickey Roarke flick I saw recently (I forget the name). I think he could own this roll..

    Levitt was good in Brick, although I'm indifferent about that movie. Most people have never heard of it.

    I've yet to see (500) Days of Summer, but will get around to it at some point... same with The Lookout.

    The Lookout was a great performance, as was his performance in (500) days of summer. I think he stole the show in Inception...

    I never knew who he was until Inception, and then I realised he's the guy from 10 things I hate about you.

    I liked his role in Inception though, he was very good.

    I thought I had read a quote from the director saying they would not bring the Joker back as they thought Ledger had put too much of a stamp in the character. Question is whether that was just for #3 or for good.

    I doubt they'll retire the Joker forever, but in terms of movies they'll sit on him for awhile.

    Cartoons and Comics the character will remain (obviously).

    Stole the show in Inception? What? He did nothing impressive in Inception other than float around a hotel. (That wasn't actually happening... just in case anyone's confused)

    JDL doesn't have it in him. I like him as a casual actor, but he's never going to steal a show. He doesn't have... IT. He's good at being that ONE guy that he is in every movie. He might slightly change his tone, but his character stays put.

    Ledger actually had varying roles leading up to the Joker. He became characters... he didn't make the character become him. Thus the reason everyone thought he could actually pull off the joker.
