This may seem crazy and dumb but I dont even think we exist. I think its kinda like the Matrix. Were all here dreaming in some kind of huge room attached to machines. Some kind of tube that were placed into when were made(however that is) then once the time is right were removed from the tube to help the creators fight the enemy.

Sounds dumb but how would we know?

lol we could just be clones of the real people we are and are only here because the person wanted to make sure if he ever got really hurt he had all the parts/organs/limbs ect. he needed.

The 400-page report puts it like this: "No evidence exists to suggest that the phenomena seen are hostile or under any type of control, other than that of natural physical forces."

well, just because they aren't little green men, doesn't mean they aren't "alien".

as Phi stated, life on Earth is here due to certain circumstances. For starters, our relative position to the sun, as well as our tilt and speed of rotation. If we were closer or further away by smal measures, then human life would not be able to exist

"There are more planets and stars in the universe than every grain of sand from every beach on Earth"

something else to ponder, let's say the closest living species lives somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy (a galaxy many experts predict we will ultimately be consumed by).
^ there are over a trillion stars in Andromeda
and our little star has several planets in orbit, so imagine how many planets could be in Andromeda
another note is that Andromeda is 2.5 million light years away
meaning at the speed of light, it would take 2.5 million years to reach Earth

Conclusion : there is little evidence either way to suggest the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe, and due to the Andromeda equation, I would have to assume that even if there is life elsewhere, they aren't visiting

Like I said before I am confident there is life elsewhere, but I agree with you that aren't visiting.

Plus it would be pretty tough to find Earth, we are but a speck of dust in the whole universe. So unless they are on Mars chances are slim they would find Earth.

I do not think it was convenience I think it was chance. This positioning in a universe this size has to occur somewhere. We just happened to be the life that formed on that particular planet.

Now if you look at Pucks post and apply that to Andromeda’s 2.5 Trillion attempts to roll the dice just in the galaxy itself not to mention that we have detected several hundred galaxies. Even at your ridiculous % it is still likely to have happened again.
