I tend to have a hard time paying attention during the NFL season, but I am a Preds fan.

Hopefully they are much improved and back to being contenders this season... otherwise Trotz has got to go. Just another Fisher in Nashville.

yeah.. i have nhl gamecenter which is just like nfl game rewind pretty much PLUS they have an xbox app so you can run it through your xbox. So I typically watch highlights and game replays of the Detriot Redwings through that.

Have you been to a preds game? Whats attendance like and how much are decent seats?

I went to every home game of the 2011 series against the Ducks and one games

I forgot what site my friends were using for tickets, but I went for dirt cheap even to the playoffs... as in like an average of $25-30 a game. Granted we were in the nosebleeds, but for playoffs that's not bad. I went to a game or two the next year when they lost to the Coyotes as well.

Attendance and atmosphere are great. It's something I hope to see at Titans games again in the near future. All the Nashville celebs go to the games and prefer them over Titans games (Boooooooooo). Carrie Underwood went to the games even before her husband got traded here. Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Keith Bulluck, Kirk Herbstreit, etc... they go to games. I sat next to Herbie on a plane a couple years back and he said people were always telling him to go to Preds games instead of Titans games because they weren't any good. Way to go, Nashville... way to support the Titans.

Jake and Rusty liked going to the games too... and Mariani is friends with a lot of their players.

It's harder for me to make it to games now because of school... I try to watch all games though.

Thats pretty cool! Id like to go check out a game up there sometime. Im hoping I can line it up eventually where I can just spend a couple of days in nashville and catch the Titans one sunday and the preds on a monday or something.

Now that I look at it.. looks like we play Houston in Nashville on Dec 29th and then the Preds have the Red Wings in Nashville the following day! Waa waa wee wah! I may have to start putting together a game plan and try to sell the wife on it :bliss:

I tend not to pay too much attention to the NHL, or NBA, until the NFL regular season is over. That being said I will be watching a lot of Habs once that time comes. And where I live it is impossible not to hear about the Leafs and, to a lesser extent, the Sabres.

Even better though I am looking forward to the Olympic tournament in Sochi. Last Olympics I took the second week off work to watch as much of the Hockey as I could.

They do exhibition games at local OHL arenas most years. Which is pretty cool because some of them are small. The one here is small and old. No glass behind the benches which is really cool. Get to hear the players yell at each other and stuff.

yeah.. olympic hockey gets pretty competitive when all of the NHL's talent plays for their native country. Canada usually always wins

I think the US will have an amazing team this year. The team the US had in Vancouver was almost all kids. They were not supposed to come even close to a medal and instead almost won the gold. Plus Russia will be pumped to play well in their home country and Sweden is always tough. Will be a great tournament as always.
