Peterson pushing for 2000.
ya barring injury its pretty much guaranteed now and i'm thinking eric dickerson is going to be sweating his balls off in 2 weeks.
He needs 293 and has Houston and Green Bay. Definitely has a chance.
Yeah, today really helped his cause. I think that he will get to 2000, but I think he falls short of ED's record. He will need about 150 yds each of the next 2 weeks. I think the Texans bring everything they have to stop AP and try to force Ponder to beat them throught the air. If he doesn't get to 150 next week, then I don't think he gets the record. It will be close though.
I hope he gets it. I have always liked Peterson and respect him and his work ethic to the fullest. He has an uphill battle though.
Not sure about Green Bay... but, honestly, Houston has nothing else to play for next week. They wrapped up the South.
Actually... they are playing for the Number 1 Seed, right? My bad, if so...
HOU has locked up the division, but they haven't even locked up the 1st rd bye. If the Pats win tonight, then they will only be 0.5 games behind, and the Broncos are 1.5 games behind with 2 games to go, so it is still possible for them to end up as low as the 3rd seed and have to play in the WC round.
A win next week would lock up the 1st rd bye I think, but they will likely still be playing for the #1 seed week 17 as long as the Pats keep winning. I doubt they get to rest starters at all this year.
Trent Richardson broke a Jim Brown record today yup
Seahawks up 40-17. They've scored 98 points in the last 6 1/2 quarters
