NFL Draft '09: Pick #30 - Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers

If I remember correctly, it happened after we tried to rush him back that same year. But yeah, he wasn't touched on the play.

We haven't drafted a receiver in the top three rounds any time recently. I'm not sure when the last time was, but it has been at least three years. Kenny Britt has some serious expectations to live up to here, this isn't just a 4th round 'lets hope for the best' pick (Lavelle Hawkins), this is our first round draft choice, quite a commitment. The Titans wouldn't have picked this guy up unless they were pretty damn sure that he's the dude they were looking for. Hopefully the FO was just waiting for the perfect guy to fall to us these past couple years, and maybe they feel like Killer Kenny is that guy...I sure as hell hope so.

Paul williams was a third rd pick 2007..

What about Roydell Williams? Before the injury he was starting to show some good things..now I don't even know where he's at

It's technically possible that he could catch on in a camp this summer. He had some moments, and I'm sure he's not demanding much money.
