NFL dates for 2014

I really don't like the push back in the draft date. We already have to wait long enough for it and I honestly get tired of all of the mock drafts pushed out every day. Not to mention that it pushes back the amount of time rookies will get to be with their perspective teams before the season kicks off. Could really hurt teams looking to start a rookie at a high impact position like QB. That team could be us if Locker doesn't pan out this season.

 

Really stupid for them to push it back. Just want the draft to be hyped up for a little bit longer because after the draft there really is no more big dates for a month or two.

 

Rookies do need time to get acclimated to their new cities, this might hinder a lot of their first seasons.

If a guys not comfortable walking around town just getting something to eat, he sure isn't going to show up on Sundays for you.

IMO the draft needs to be sooner, not later, but hey, if its just for this one year Im ok waiting another 2 weeks for the draft.

Im just slightly curious if OTA's will get pushed back some. How does a team do OTA's with no rookies around? Unlike the Titans, some teams hold theirs way early. Rookies will miss practices, how is that any good?

 

My buddy told me about the draft being moved back last night. I just don't see the benefit as I, like others, see it actually being negative for rookies/practice/etc.
