Its long overdue to face the dilemma we have had all season long. Do we cater the offense around Murray or Mariota?
We lose/win games when Murray plays well, but we lose every game that Mariota doesn't post at least a 100 qb rating. We are not a team that can get by with a game manager mentality at qb. Its about time we get Mariota in situations that he is best at. Our offensive line has improved which means we can put them in more single matchups giving Mariota more options to throw too. I know they can't change to much of the playbook right now but one would think they would have an arsenal of plays that best suit Mariotas strengths even if it doesn't please Demarco Murray.

Somebody in my section was screaming "you suck, Cox!" at one game.

 

I just have a feeling mariota is going to bounce back. Last game wasn't because of bad decision making but more so because of his throwing mechanics being inconsistent which was unusual.

 

True, usually his throwing motion is consistently bad which is usual.
