    kern isnt a bad punter, hes just the last guy anyone wants to see play

    him being involved means something isnt happening for us, which is bad news all around

    I wouldnt mind going for it on 4th & short more

    never understood why a coach goes for it on 4th & inches but a 4th & 1 scares them into punting

    whats 2 extra feet when your run game averages nearly 5 yards a carry

    Field position is very underestimated. Not only do you give them a long field, which statistically increases your percentages of them scoring, but when you get them inside their 20 they are limited to the playcalling, which helps even further with your chances for a 3 and out.

    to build on this; Murray has ran 5 times this year for 19-yards on 3rd/4th & 1's

    so yea try for it on 4th down maybe? 20 points a week isnt gonna do it most the time, and getting a 4th down conversion can be devastating for the opponent..
