Personally, and I'm not kidding here, I like the purge strategy. It puts you in a good position to succeed. It is the Charles Barkley strategy. You are better off being at the top or at the bottom. And not in the middle. And I think for the Titans it has worked quite well. We had a run of about 5 or 6 years. Then a bad run of two. And now we are headed back to the top, I think. This has been a good ride. I don't see any reason to change it now. We are not the patriots. We are the titans. And the titans have done well with top picks.

I peronally hope he is just feeding us what we want to hear. And that in 10 years we are ready to purge our superbowl team.

 

yea but then those years that u are down are just boring as hell, i would much rather be like the patriots cause it shows that u dont have to purge to win the super bowl, and more than once

 

yeah and no one in the salary cap era has done what the Patroits did.

The Eagles do the same thing with the cap and they got to one superbowl and lost.
