    I already bought a 20-inch one three weeks ago. But, as you know, they didn't have anything to ship so I assume my name is on three of the new ones.

    And class starts... uh... next Thursday. :whoop:

    too bad they didn't get this thing out last week .....
    when we gcould have saved ourselves $200 - $300 in tax

    Hold up. Just because they are selling them doesn't mean they're ready to ship them. Remember, I bought three iMacs a few weeks ago and they didn't tell me anything about them being unavailable. Actually, it said, as these do, that it would ship in 3-5 days.

    ^ I see what you're saying
    but it could also have been because they new they were about to roll out the new models and might save themselves the ire of customers by backlogging there orders and shipping them the shiny new one

    btw..... if you needed these by a specific date, wouldn't CompUsa or MacAuthority have done the trick ? (sorry to pry)
